Volunteer program

We cannot do this without you! Many hands make light work, and there are numerous moving parts to ensure that our youth and families are invested in, camps run smoothly, animals are cared for and the property is maintained to name a few! 

If you have a heart to serve, our Volunteer Program provides various lanes and opportunities to give of your time and talent. We ask all Adult and Youth Volunteers to make a 6-month commitment of at least one day per week. 

Youth Volunteer Program

Youth ages 10-18 are assigned one day from the Tuesday or Thursday 3:30-5:30pm option.  All youth must complete a volunteer application, tour, and interview to ensure it is a mutual fit for both parties.  Due to the current demand and wait list of our Youth Volunteer Program, if youth volunteers are absent more than 3-weeks in a row, we will fill the spot with a youth on our waiting list.  

We are looking for adults to mentor and build relationships with the youth that come to 2CYR. If you are interested in overseeing chores and investing in our youth on an individual basis by speaking encouragement and God's love into their hearts, please contact us to schedule an interview.

Horses need interaction on a regular basis. If you have experience and are looking to work with horses, we may have a spot for you! 

Horses eat a lot of hay and produce a lot of manure! This is a big need on the ranch.

Regular grooming is necessary as well. 

12 acres is a lot of grass! If you enjoy mowing or weed-whipping, maintaining flower beds, or cleaning-up the grounds, you have found your happy-place!

Construction Projects

We are always looking for specialists who desire to give of their time and talent to help maintain a standard of excellence regarding the property and daily operations: from electrical, plumbing, to framing. We have uncompleted projects that include, but are not limited to, fencing, wiring lights, or simply painting!
